Located in Gahanna, Animal Care Center at Cherry Way offers pet boarding for cats and dogs so you can enjoy peace of mind while you're away.
At Animal Care Center at Cherry Way, we know the importance of finding the perfect boarding facility. We are dedicated to making your pet's vacation as comfortable and satisfying as possible and we promise to take care of your furry friend as if they were our own.
Our boarders enjoy these amenities during their stay:

- Fresh bedding and daily housekeeping

- Daily observations
- Veterinary medical care (if needed)
To make your pet's stay as comfortable as possible, feel free to send them with their favorite treats, toys, or bedding.
Pet Daycare
Regular Pet Daycare
Pets are kept in kennels and walked periodically throughout the day. We have our own pet food but encourage that you bring in the food they’re used to eating to help with comfortability and any unwanted digestive issues.
Group Pet Daycare
During group daycare, your dog is off leash to interact with all their friends who come to play that day as well. We go through up to a 30-day trial period to see if your dog is suitable for group day care. We have an outdoor play area that has been outfitted with AstroTurf to make for a cleaner playtime for both your dog and our daycare staff. We also have an indoor play area for inclement weather.

Our Boarding & Daycare Requirements
Our requirement are as follows:
- Dogs must be current on their Distemper, Rabies, Bordetella, and Canine Influenza vaccines
- Cats must be current on their distemper (FVRCP), Rabies, and FeLV (or have a negative test result within 6 months)
- All boarders must provide proof that they are free from parasites – internal or external
